I'm The #1 Stunnah...What What What What..

Big Tymers Ain't Got Nothing On This Cat...

PALM CITY, Fla. -- A man was charged with child abuse after he shocked his 14-year-old son with a stun gun, authorities said.

Douglas Dycus, 40, also was charged with domestic battery following a complaint to the state Department of Children & Families, Martin County sheriff's investigators said. The stun gun used was not a Taser device, officials said.

Dycus used the stun gun when he became frustrated with the boy, who was wrestling with his brothers and not paying attention to him, authorities said. Two burn marks were found on the 14-year-old.

Dycus told investigators he remembered using the weapon on the youth's arm on Dec. 26 out of frustration, but said he didn't recall causing a second burn on the child's abdomen. The 14-year-old was not being identified.

Investigators reported Dycus has four other complaints against him with DCF, including a 2003 report that he hit the youth with a belt and left welts (I used to catch a few welts here an there...But that is the difference between...you know). Those reports are not public and Dycus has no other arrest history for abuse or domestic violence in Florida.

Sheriff's Sgt. Jenell Atlas said she knows of no law that restricts ownership of stun guns, but she said they are designed primarily for self defense and subduing attackers.

The shocks don't cause any lasting damage and the pain ends instantly when the device is turned off, Atlas said.

The gun Dycus allegedly used requires close contact with the target, as opposed to Tasers, which allow for use from farther away because they deliver the charge through a long wire.

Dycus, an engineer with a West Palm Beach firm, was jailed without bail.

Now that is what you call discipline...So what your thoughts on the situation...

And now for you Black History Moment for the Day (Black History Month PBS Theme Music)...

The first do-rag came on the scene in the site of World War II. Everybody knows that Black men wore them while they slept to hold flat their chemically processed hair-dos...But people really don't know where it came from...Well a man by the name of Curtis Fortson began a new job at the factory...He wanted to make sure that his head was on point...But there was a problem...Curtis wife threw away his old trusty bandana earlier that day while cleaning up and all the stores were closed for the night (And you know it wasn't safe to be a black man in the streets pass 7 anyway). So he decided to take a pair of his wife's stocking (It didn't tell me if they were rayon or silk)...He then cut one of the legs off, tied at the toe and tah dah, it was born...Well he didn't know how good it actually was going to work out onto the next morning...Well he got up and look in the mirror and he saw them type of waves that would make a nigga sea sick...And then he knew he had something special...He then went to work and everybody was jocking his hair something tuff (especially the ladies...BROWN & PINK if you know what I'm saying)...And all the brothers wanted to be joked too...So they kept on begging Curtis for his secret...So the next day he shows up to work and start selling them out of a bag...This also goes down in history as the beginning of black people having side businesses at the work place...Thanks to Curtis...This was Black History Moment for the Day (Black History Month PBS Theme Music)...I'll keep you posted

That story about the man with the stun gun is horrible. I don't understand how people can do this to people in general - let alone their own children. Maybe it's just me *shrug*

And you's a HOT MESS for that do-rag

The stun gun.. These ppl act a fool down here in South Fla. They sell stun guns @ the Flea Market down here.

Thanks for the little known Black Histroy Fact. That ish was interesting. We need a little rectification for some of the ish we do.

@ Jamille, The pants under the ass, that style was started in the early 90s. Jail in mates used to wear their pants below their waist as invites to other cell mates. Long story short, they get out of jail, kept the style, ppl on street pick it up. And now little white suburban kids try to do it.

Umkay, you were being a true negroid with that one. lol@side businesses at the workplace. And as for the stunner, you can bet if my mama had did that back in the day, she wouldn't be in jail. She'd be rich, just like the do-rag man. lol
